What are your plans for the summer? What about spending the summer with NIH building your science policy skills? If this sounds interesting, the OSP Summer Internship Program might be right for you. This virtual internship program will take place over the course of 8-12 weeks beginning in late May/early June 2024.  Applications must be received no later than February 12, 2024.

NIH Seeks to Fund Innovative Research and Capacity Building Efforts Related to Bioethics

OSP To Host Webinar on Public Engagement in Policymaking 

On November 13, the NIH Office of Science Policy (OSP) will host a webinar to discuss its approach to maximizing the impact of public engagement in the policy making process.  The webinar will address the recent recommendations of the Novel and Exceptional Technology and Research Advisory Committee (NExTRAC) and OSP’s commitment to engage with individuals and communities when considering policy matters.

NIH Seeking Comment on Draft Resource Informed Consent for Research Using Digital Health Technologies  

NIH is seeking comment on a draft resource, Informed Consent for Research Using Digital Health Technologies: Points to Consider and Sample Language, which is focused on bolstering consent language for research involving digital health technologies. The draft resource, when final, is intended to assist the research community in developing and reviewing informed consent documents involving digital health technologies.
