On August 19, 2026, NIH invited stakeholders to provide comments on the Draft Biosafety Policy for Research Involving Biohazards, and its associated Draft Incident Reporting Template, and Draft Meeting Minutes Template.

This serves as a reminder that the comment period is closing soon.  Comments will be accepted through October 19, 2026, and must be submitted though the online portal found at: https://osp.od.nih.gov/comment-form-draft-nih-biosafety-policy-for-research-involving-biohazards.
