NIH is sponsoring a National Academies public workshop on Enhancing Public Access to the Results of Research Supported by the Department of Health and Human Services taking place on Nov 30 – Dec 1, 2023. This workshop will be a venue for communities to discuss issues that NIH and other HHS agencies should consider as they develop or update policies to enhance public access to the results of HHS-supported research.

This workshop builds upon the NIH Public Access Plan and will inform the next steps of policy development. The workshop is open to the public and there will be options for in-person and virtual attendance. More information, including how to register, can be found on the event webpage.
