Upcoming OBA events
The NIH Office of Biotechnology Activities (OBA) will be participating in several conferences and events in the upcoming months. OBA will also be conducting training sessions that will offer information about the oversight of research subject to the NIH Guidelines, as well as promoting awareness about the requirements for institutional oversight of life sciences dual use research of concern. Please take note of the following events:

• 2015 IBC Professional Development Conference The Eagleson Institute will be hosting the 2015 biannual professional development conference for Institutional Biosafety Committees. The conference titled "Beyond the ABCs of IBCs” will take place June 7-9, 2015, in Lafayette, CA. . In addition to participating in the main conference program, OBA staff will also be conducting a pre-conference IBC training workshop.
